Fritz Hansen Egg Chair

The Egg Chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1958. 

Featuring smooth curved lines, the Egg Chair from Fritz Hansen has now become one of Arne Jacobsen's most iconic designs. 

The Egg came as a result of a new manufacturing technique which Jacobsen was the first to use; making use of a strong foam inner shell underneath the upholstery.

• Shell features an adjustable tilt mechanism
