To commemorate their 50th anniversary Fritz Hansen released this one of a kind Poul Kjærholm originally designed in 1952 at the start of the designer's journey that showcases Kjærholm's talent as a furniture designer. To obtain the ribbon like form Kjærholm relied on wood bending techniques that was challenging conventional chair forms at the time. The PKO A reissued in Oregon Pine or black coloured ash with cinnabar red spacers holds its place in the modern design and art history hall of fame, as at all angles the curvature highlights its pure elegance.
