HAY Boa Table

Boa is an organic idea translated into a contemporary take on the conference table typology inspired by the traditional skills of Japanese bamboo craftmanship, designed by Stefan Diez. The industrial designer used an innovative folding technique, converting the aluminium into flexible industrial aluminium profiles that are bent into place during the assembly process. The lightness of aluminium provides the table a level of agility rarely present in a table of this scale.
