One of Wegner's most well known and sought-after designs from his debut collection for Carl Hansen & Son is the CH22 Lounge chair, replacing the common upholstery with seats in paper cord. Considered larger than Wegner's standard pieces, the lounge chair has incredible arm support by embracing the side stretcher and the seat frame expanding to full width under the armrest giving optimum support. Even though the production of the lounge chair has been modernized, similar craftmanship principles are followed to improve front leg precision since they were originally manufactured round.
