Ocee FourCast Range

The all new FourCast range by Ocee

The FourCast range from Ocee Design is not only considered a product, but also a concept. Christina Strand and Neils Hvass set out to create a family of chairs/tables which followed a simple, minimalist design while still providing excellent functionalism. The FourCast family, including the Four, One, XL, Eating, and Wheeler, add that aesthetical feel to any room, be it a classroom, lecture hall, canteen, or conference room.

The FourCast's chairs all follow the same seat shell, therefore creating consistency in style throughout your building. The seat shell is ergonomically designed to provide maximum comfort, and is made from extremely durable, flexible polyamide. And from watching their demonstration video you'll see the sheer strength of the shell when the demonstrator jumps up and down on the shell's back. 

The FourCast Range

FourCast XL

The XL truly provides the ultimate seating comfort and the broader, leather topped arms accommodate for the "broader" man like myself. The XL is well suited for both meeting and boardrooms, and it is traditionally upholstered in leather to give it that extra stylish look. It also has the option to have an automatic return on the swivel base, meaning you don't look awkward when you want to impersonate Dr Evil.

FourCast Evo

The Evo is extremely similar to the XL, except it comes without arms. But you do have the option to add on loop, chromed arms with leather armrests. If you prefer a hard seat ( i.e. if you're weird...), the evo has the option to come partially upholstered with a seat pad, or not upholsterd at all. FourCast One

The One takes a new turn on swivel bases as it comes with a four legged one. Do you expect any less? It is "The One" after all. It comes with the option to add on arms and have an automatic return function, as well as having the seat shell finished in wood veneer. The One is well suited for office, conference rooms, and it's even ideal to have in your home office.

FourCast Wheeler

The Wheeler was designed to encourage people to interact with one another, and it does so by optimising the physical environment. This is achieved by adding on the Innotab to the Wheeler. This therefore reduces the need for desks and allows users to roam around the room freely, allowing them to participate in group activities and such. It's ideal for classrooms as research shows that cooperative teaching methods triple the learning outcome. These methods can also be applied to work and training environments to increase workflow. 

The Innotab allows you to rest your phone, laptop, tablet, and other workbooks while the hanging compartment provides room for pens, bottles, and other accessories. It's an all round great chair. 10/10 from me.

FourCast Lounge

The Lounge is more of a relaxation type chair, ideal for informal working or eating areas. It comes fully upholstered with that good ole automatic return function. The Lounge also comes with the option to add on an Inno lounge Tab to rest your laptop and other belongings.

FourCast Four

The FourCast Four is a chair that suits well anywhere. It adds that aesthetical feel to any conference, meeting, canteen, or classroom and is extremely space efficient as it is a light, stacking chair. But just because it's light, that doesn't mean it's flimsy. It can take weights up to 112kg! The Four has the option to come fully, partially, or not upholstered at all. The Four also can also come as an outdoor range. 

The FourCast Four is compatible with the FourCast Four Eating table chair suspension, and comes with an optional linking device under the shell.

FourCast High

The FourCast High was designed to be used with the FourCast Standing Table, and is a skid framed stacking chair which is a great alternative to kitchen stools. It's ideal for high level working, and the High creates striking multi-height areas when combined with other FourCast chairs.

FourCast Line

The Line follows the same style as the High with the skid frame, but it's not as 'High'. The Line has on optional linking device on the base of the frame, allowing chairs to be, well... linked. It can be stacked up to 40 high with the use of the trolley, allowing for easy transportation and storage. The Line is also compatible with the Four Eating table suspension unit.

The Line also has the option to add on an Inno Note foldable & removable tablet. It works well as a dining, conference, and auditorium chair. It also works well in seminar and lecture rooms. If you are a dedicated student, you'll have the Inno Note unfolded. If you're the party goer student, you can just go ahead and keep that Inno Note tucked away, better yet you'll have it unfolded to sleep on!

FourCast Inno Audi

The Inno Audi is much the same as the Line, but the base is square and is fixed to the ground. The Inno Audi is an innovative and practical solution for auditorium seating. Great for educational environments, the Audi provides a space saving alternative to traditional seating whilst maintaining the comfort of the FourCast range.

FourCast Four Standing & Eating

The Four Standing table is designed to be used with the High chairs. The chromed 4 legged frame is extremely sturdy and are great for both eating and working areas. The Four Eating table is foldable allowing for easy storage, and comes with that ingenious chair suspension systems which allows chairs to be hung on, clear of the ground. This saves having to move chairs out of the way, allowing for easy cleaning of floors and such. It also means you don't have to stack chairs on the table top, thus preventing damage. The Eating Table can be folded and stacked on to a trolley which can hold up to 10 tables!
