Antonio Citterio and Vitra have collaborated once again to develop the tenth office swivel chair, ACX, offering maximum comfort for every user without unnecessary adjustments other than the seat height. With the mechanism automatically adjusting to a wide range of user weights; even very lightweight or heavier individual can sit and enjoy instant comfort and optimum support.

FOR THE WORKPLACE

Vitra’s ACX can be specified in a variety of options so once a desired specification is agreed for a workspace. The chair can be manufactured, delivered and instantly go to work improving desk users posture and positioning. The weight sensing, adaptive mechanism ensures minimum guesswork when setting up this chair and also allows office users that may hot desk to have a similar experience wherever they sit within the workplace. The only adjustment required to ‘personalise’ is the height setting. 

FOR THE HOME

ACX is designed to be used as a personal task chair.  The chair is adaptive to provide maximum flexibility. This ensures the Chair user does not have to adjust the components to their own preferences, as the mechanism automatically adapts to the user’s weight. So for the home office /study which might include wife, husband and children the seating experience and comfort will be the same for all due to the adaptive mechanism. The only task is to raise or lower the seat height to the required angle.

ACX is the ideal chair in any setting in need for healthy ergonomic seating that exudes an inviting aesthetic along with a focus on longevity and compliance. The light is the perfect entry level model with a standard netweave cover, combined with a seat in the technical spacer fabric silk mesh to ensure comfort and facilitate air circulation.
