Innovative Ways of Working

No matter the size of the space you have in your office, there is always a unique range of solutions available to you to ensure you not only make the most out of your environment but also to maximise efficiency and comfortability of your staff. Below are a few of these solutions.

Vitra Silent Wall

In open-plan offices, the division of space and optimisation of acoustics are essential to creating a pleasant and productive work environment. Achieving effective space division and acoustics often involves using permanent in-built components. However, such components are complicated to install and inflexible. The Silent Wall modular system offers a flexible alternative for this purpose.

A popular layout, as shown in the image above, consist of four wall panels, one technology panel for mounting the screens and connecting these to the tables, and two corner columns. These elements can be configured to create different architectural interiors, and are easy to plan and assemble. The wall elements of Silent Wall come in two heights and have insulating panels on the inside. These panels are outfitted with a perforated steel plate layer or textile cover.

Flo monitor arm with tablet / IPad mounting from Colebrook Bosson Saunders The modern workplace and it's emerging technologies is still evolving and our fixed screens and computers of today are slowing making way (or being added to) with tablet technology from the IPad and Blackberry tablets. Tablet and touch screen technology requires a more flexible and agile approach to desk top integration. The Flo monitor arm complete with tablet mount offers that solution. The new Flo monitor arm works in unison with the adjustable spring to set the optimum tension to the screen weight and deliver perfect usability. To reduce installation time, simply replicate this setting across all workstations.

Vitra Workbay

The New Vitra Workbay system provides a modern (and more comfortable ) take on the office cubicle. The main difference now is that Workbays are designed as small hubs where office workers can go for shorter periods of time when they need focus or privacy as opposed to the old cubicle system which people were supposed to work all day.

The sound proofing afforded by the Workbay walls allows this workplace solution to be used for a variety of tasks from small meeting areas through to singular bays for touchdown meetings.
