A French intern in Clerkenwell

First time in a London exhibition at Clerkenwell Design Week.

Massive, Enormous, Gorgeous! Completely different from the French exhibitions.

At the Farmiloe Building Clerkenwell Design Week hosted a real large selection of furniture companies. This historic building was perfect for this show presenting a diverse range of the best international contemporary design. Four floor of British and international companies. Four floor to discover some amazing product’s. Discovering these products around this building made things more alive and exciting.

Across this exhibition I discovered a new world, before this internship I never work with home and office furniture or lighting and to discover this environment was a great revelation for me.

After this exhibition we went to different showrooms who were involved in Clerkenwell Design Week, Vitra, Arper, Boss Design, Elite, Howe … It was at the same time completely different but also very similar to the main exhibition. Products are highlighted in simple and chic places. All focus around the product and makes it more fascinating.

People I had the opportunity to meet appear very passionate about their work and the new design chairs and environment which are presented to us.

It was probably one of the best work experiences, meeting these amazing people was really rewarding for myself.
