Looks Like Alberto Meda-nother Physix Chair!
Alberto Meda decided to create a much lighter solution to work alongside his Physix task chair and he has presented to us the Physix Conference chair! The original Physix chair was designed back in 2012 and everyone seemed to love it as an office chair solution. With this in mind, Meda decided to produce a sister for his Physix office chair.
In comparison to its sister, the Physix task chair, the Physix conference is much lighter and all the more elegant. This is due to the fact that the four-star base eliminates the need for aluminium braces on the back. Even though the Physix Conference doesn't have the mechanical adjustment options of the office chair, it still provides dynamic seating and everlasting comfort.
The central theme behind the design of Physix’s structure is a continuous seat shell formed by taking a single piece of textile and stretching it over its frame. Meda takes three simple components, a flexible frame construction, an elastic cover and a stabilising mechanism, and he combines these to create an inventive, dynamic chair construction. By having these flexible and solid components the Physix Conference offers utmost comfort, perfect for meeting venues or even waiting areas.
